In partnership with SHN, Champion Charities featured the updated smash hit, WICKED for our 6th Annual Night at the Theatre event. The VIP Reception was held at San Francisco’s City Hall for our 600 guests followed by the show at the Orpheum Theater.
Originally launched in San Francisco in 2003, WICKED has gone on to become one of “Broadway’s biggest blockbusters” (New York Times) and “a cultural phenomenon” (Variety). We were proud to join with Glinda the Good Witch and the Wicked Witch of the West for this fundraising event which benefited UCSF’s brain tumor programs as well as REDF’s work building and supporting social enterprises.
Making it all possible were our wonderful sponsors:
Citadel Group Foundation, George Roberts & Family, Gayla & Kevin Compton, Bill Campbell, Anonymous, Marritje & Jamie Greene, Nikki & Craig Johnson, TCV, Joe Lacob, Yurie & Carl Pascarella, Artis Capital Management LP, Capital Dynamics, Elizabeth & George Still, Jr., Preeta & Immanuel Thangaraj, Dana & Vince Vanelli, Amy & Geoff Yang, Debra & Andy Rachleff, Barbara & Gerson Bakar Foundation, and Ali & John Walecka.
