It was a group of epic proportions for the 2012 Salute to the Titans event. Champion Charities’ largest number of honorees boasted a crew of five Super Bowl MVP-winning quarterbacks, all with strong ties to the Bay Area: Tom Brady, Joe Montana, Jim Plunkett, Aaron Rodgers, Steve Young.
The event was attended by an intimate group of 300 guests who enjoyed a fascinating fireside chat with the Titans, moderated by Bob Costas. The Titans discussed childhood, memorable plays and experiences from their illustrious careers, hot-button issues facing the league today and, of course, philanthropic groups near and dear to their hearts.
The breakfast event took place at UCSF at Mission Bay and was covered and broadcast by NFL Films and ESPN.
