Broadway's best "Lion King" became the 1st Night at the Theatre.
On March 18, 2004, the event began inside a tent at Civic Center Plaza in San Francisco, where Harris and Ronnie hosted a pre-theatre reception for sponsors, with face painters, centipedes, spiders, and talking parrots, in addition to wonderful food and beverages for the entire family. We also had a special appearance by Simba!
Over 400 joined them in this inaugural occassion which raised $275,000 for Champion Charities and All Stars Helping Kids, National Brain Tumor Foundation and ABC2.
