Harris Barton and Ronnie LottHarris lost both of his parents to brain tumors, and is deeply committed to finding a cure and better treatments for this often lethal disease. Each year approximately 190,000 people in the United States will be diagnosed with a primary or metastatic brain tumor. It also represents the most lethal form of cancer for all children under the age of 15 and the 2nd leading cause of death for adults 30 years and under. With brain tumors currently being one of the lowest-funded areas of cancer research, Champion Charities is dedicated to helping meet this need starting with our partnership with the University of California, San Francisco.
